Summer Reservations
Summary: We pick up and drive your vehicle between the towns of Crested Butte and Aspen in either direction, typically while you are hiking or biking between those locations. In most cases, we can have your vehicle waiting for you at your destination before you arrive.
Important: Most of our clients are hiking over West Maroon Pass or East Maroon Pass and we will begin by assuming you are doing the same. If you’re doing something else just let us know. The logistics for a 1-way hike over West Maroon or East Maroon Pass are complicated and somewhat expensive after you have paid multiple services to complete your trip. We have been in operation since 2012 and help you simplify the logistics if you read through all of our information.
Service: We primarily transport your vehicle between the towns of Aspen and Crested Butte in either direction. This is due to several rules and regulations for the very popular hikes over West and East Maroon Passes. In some situations we may be able to help move your vehicle between slightly different locations and additional fees may be required.
In order to access the trailheads outside of Aspen and Crested Butte you will need to hire additional services. Between Aspen and the Maroon Bells, you are primarily required to ride the RFTA Bus from Aspen Highlands and the Maroon Bells. For trailhead access outside of Crested Butte, your primary options are Dolly’s Mountain Shuttle and Alpine Express.
Logistics: Below are the logistics from 2023. These should be about the same in 2024, but we make small updates every year to make sure all the information is up to date. When you book a reservation in 2024 you will be sent the final logistics and prompts to fill in all the necessary information. Click the links below.
